Broker's Comments

Although built in 1982, her original engine was not installed until 1985. She now has the benefit of a mint looking Beta 14hp, installed two years ago with just 153 hours run. An Eberspacher heater has been installed.

Her owner has been sailing for over fifty years and has sailed extensively up and down the Channel to France and the Channel Islands, the East coast and Belgium and Holland. These boats have a reputation for seaworthiness and performance.

Her interior is tidy, with two double and two single berths, a galley with grill, cooker, ice box and sink.

As her owner is so experienced, do not expect to find the full panoply of navigation aids on this vessel, but there is a DSC VHF radio, depth sounder and handheld GPS, plus a Simrad autopilot.

As she is a deep bilge keeler, I was pleased to see easily accessible keel bolts that looked sound to me.

This Sadler 26 could be an ideal first boat for someone to have ever extending adventures on, but equally suitable for someone more experienced looking to downsize for ease of solo and short handed cruising.
