Brighton Marina Yacht Club Members Visit Marlow Rope Factory at Hailsham

BMYC members were delighted to be invited for a tour of Marlow's state of the art rope factory at Hailsham, East Sussex.

The event included a guided tour around the factory floor and a teach-in about the types of rope that they manufacture, what they can be used for and the properties associated with each.

The session culminated with a "try your own splicing" - with mixed results, but a lot of fun!
