Golden Globe Race Update:
The Golden Globe Race is now on day 138 and heading towards Cape Horn. There were 18 skippers that started the race, 10 of which have now retired. Mark Slats, who purchased his boat through Boatshed (????) and Susie Goodall, the only female and remaining GBR entry, are within the remaining 8 skippers. Mark is currently in second place and Susie is in fourth place.
Boatshed are an official supplier, assisting with technical support for the 'GGR' website whilst the race takes place.

Boatshed are offering £5000 prize money to the winner of the 'GGR' which mirrors the original prize money for the original race. Boatshed have been proud to be involved with the GGR and are currently in the process of listing a Biscay 36 which was skippered by Antoine Cousot who retired from the race in September.
