The December 2022 BoatBid auction opened for bidding on Monday and will continue through to Sunday 11th December.

We are pleased to offer you some of the delights in the BoatBid catalogue, below, with many more on show in the full catalogue at BoatBid.com.

Tom Pudding was the name given to the tub boats on the Aire and Calder Navigation, introduced in 1863 and used until 1985, which were a very efficient means of transferring and transporting coal from the open cast collieries of the South Yorkshire Coalfield near Stanley Ferry to the port of Goole, competing with rail.

Here we have a fantastic, classic Tom Pudding Tug that was extended in 2007 to make her 68ft long. She has a large wheelhouse/saloon, with plenty of visibility topsides. Large fore and aft decks, and access to the engine room, aft.

Take a look at her interior, and follow us around the deck, in the videos and photographs here.

This vessel was brought to the UK under its own power seven years ago. Prior to this she had commercial use as a cafe in the Netherlands. Once in the UK the owners underwent a refit to provide 2 double bedrooms, a luxurious shower room, spacious living room and trendy newly fitted out kitchen along with a log burner fire with tiled surround. The interior is clean and dry and very homely, making this barge very comfortable.
She has an amazing open deck for relaxing or entertaining and a fabulous aft deck to watch the sunset or rise.

Beautifully presented Moody 35 built in 1991. She has benefitted from lots of care over her life but is now looking for her next careful owner. She is very comfortable for long passages or living aboard, offering lots of space inside and on deck.
