Broker's Comments

Designed by German Frers with safety, comfort & speed in mind, and built to the exacting standards of Hallberg-Rassy, this 31 footer is in a class all of its own. Said to be a sailing yacht that can deal with all weather conditions safely, it is also very comfortable. This example has been very well looked after by its current owner and is looking very good indeed.

The large cockpit has plenty of room for family / friends. It’s protected by a solid spray screen, which is particularly useful for passage making and gives good visibility forward. Fitted with a stack pack and lazy jacks, the lines lead aft, with plenty of clutches, and the main sheet winches are self tailing, making her easy to handle.

The teak decks have been refurbished, the hull is copper coated and there is a comprehensive nav fit.

The accommodation layout is practical and well-thought out, which gives the feel of a much bigger cruiser. Light and bright, with good head room, the high-quality, mahogany interior provides a warm, classic look and there appears to be everything that you could need for comfortable cruising.

Two double berthed cabins, one forward and one aft, offer privacy, whilst the saloon offers additional handy singles with lee cloths if required. There’s a large forward facing, well equipped nav table, a roomy heads / shower compartment and a good sized galley with fridge, full cooker and ample storage.

This Hallberg-Rassy 31 range was kept in production for many years due to its popularity, proven performance, safety and comfort. Simply put, it’s just an all round great yacht. If you can afford the best, why not get on and enjoy it. It would be my own first choice every time.
