Broker's Comments

Designed and built in North Wales by Australian naval architect Kim Klaka, she competed in the 1975 Quarter Ton Cup in Deauville, France, skippered by her designer with a scratch crew. See his notes below;

"The crew were Harry (who had only been on a boat twice before and I had never met him before Deauville!), Lawrence ( he had never been on this boat before although he had crewed with me on 'Ayesha' in the '73 cup), and my father as co-skipper who was recovering from a heart attack 4 weeks previously! We were not a well-organised team!
Despite its extreme shape, 'Hannovian' was a very well balanced hull and we never broached!"

This much-admired yacht underwent a 3 year re-fit undercover from 2000 and has been very well maintained by her current owner.
