Broker's Comments
Boatshed Plymouth are delighted to present this nice example of a Colvic 29ft 6".
These vessels are renowned for being robust and roomy family cruisers, featuring a fin keel, a deep cockpit, and ample space and comfort both below deck and on deck. They are well-suited for both single-handed sailing and family voyages.
The current owners seem to have maintained this boat very well; considering her age, her overall condition is impressive, although her teak decks are in need of some tender loving care.
Lots of items have been renewed and updated such as the standing rigging and a new fuel tank just for starters.
Below deck, she boasts an open and spacious layout, featuring a well-appointed galley, a cozy saloon, and comfortable sleeping quarters with crew berths. This includes a separate head and a double berth in the forward cabin. The accommodation is enhanced by ample stowage, plush upholstery and fine woodwork.
The owner informed me that they have cherished their time with the boat and are deeply regretful about having to sell it. However, due to their relocation away from the Plymouth area, they will no longer have the opportunity to sail her.
This competitively priced boat is a must-see for anyone in search of a spacious, easy-to-sail, classic-looking cruiser. It's currently in commission and comes with a 2019 survey.
This boat's mooring has been confirmed as transferrable by the owner.
