Underwater profile semi-displacement
Finish Paint finish

There is an electric head and no known holding tank. The fuel tanks are 5051 aluminum. The water tank is plastic.

The wood construction is mahogany double plank on oak frames. The seller reports that the bottom has been re-fastened. My observation was that the bilges were dry.

Waterline Boats / Boatshed does not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/ or literature.

Total # of berths 6
No. of double berths 2
No. of single berths 2
Cabin(s) 2
Handbasin 1
Heads 1 heads (Electric)

All the way forward is the chain locker in the forward V-berth cabin. Aft to port is the head compartment with electric head, sink, and counter. There appears to be a shower drain. To starborad is the galley that features Norcold refrigerator, sink and counter with galley storage below. There is a Magma propane portable grill in the cockpit. Aft of the galley is a rather large dinette table which is a piece of art in itself being an inlayed wood grain map of the greater Puget Sound area. There is comfortable seating for four in this dinette. It also converts to sleeping for two. Opposite to port is an upholstered settee which converts to upper and lower sleeping berths. Through the companion way aft to port is the helm in the spacious, well-appointed cockpit with upholstered bench seating across the transom. The cockpit sole is teak planking in beautiful condition. There is an adequate cockpit awning . This vessel has been kept under cover for much of its life. However, there is cosmetic attention needed in the way of caulking deck seams, exterior mahogany sand and varnish and probably topside paint to the buyer's satisfaction. The interior condition is clean and attractive, and it shows well. With the custom dinette table, recent upholstery, and varnished teak flooring this is an inviting interior that extends to the cockpit. When the exterior work is completed to the level of the interior appearance this boat could be a show winner.

Broker's Comments

Upon inspection this is a very appealing classic Chris-Craft. The first look reveals a need for some exterior cosmetic work but the interior is tastefully completed and appears to a very high standard. It is clean, fresh and the surfaces have a very high degree of finish.

My impression is that the exterior is ready for some deck caulking, light sanding, then paint and varnish. For those who like to do this sort of work themselves here is a chance to have a show winner at Chris-Craft show events.
