Broker's Comments
The Prelude 19 was designed by Ian Proctor, the creator of the well loved Wayfarer dinghy and so it is no surprise that they are a seaworthy and capable pocket cruiser. The cockpit has a safe and spacious feel and the accommodation surprisingly spacious for a 19' boat. There are 4 berths, with two in a forward double and two in each quarter of the boat, along-with a galley and space for a head. This boat has been used as a simple sailing craft by the current owners and could continue to be so. However, with some investment in a small outboard engine and perhaps some interior updates, this boat would provide a wider array of sailing options, including exploring estuaries and coastlines and even inland waters in a seaworthy little craft.
