Broker's Comments

This Hunter 48 is based on a Hunter 45 extended with a crash forward bulkhead to increase racing performance. She has an impressive pedigree, including several transatlantic crossings and the BOC Challenge in 1994. Yachting monthly wrote an article about her and there has even been a book dedicated to her round the world race.

The current owner intended to use her as a fast cruiser and liveaboard, but his circumstances have changed. He claims she is basically sound and sails very well but she needs a lot of cosmetic TLC and he no longer has the time to do justice to her restoration.
He is happy to do a sea trial with serious prospective buyer.

So she is a project boat, last out of the water in 2018, but I have seen many boats of this age in far worse condition.
