Broker's Comments

This looks like a very clean and tidy boat upon approach and she doesn't disappoint, as you get closer!

She has acres of nice flat upper deck space on her coach roof, accessed easily by unobstructed side decks.

A lovely, big, deep and safe feeling cockpit is enclosed fully by a big cockpit tent that looks in good condition and she has two separate helming positions, with a well equipped interior helm position.

Down below, she's very cosy, well appointed and she smells good - her current owners have made a really good job of making her a very pleasant space to be in.

There is storage absolutely everywhere and a clever head/bathroom layout, to make the most of her space.

Here forecabin looks like a space that could be used for longer periods and all of he interior benefits from great headroom throughout, thanks to her high coach roof.

All in all, this boat looks like a lovely, solid, dependable and sturdy boat - she shows some signs of her age, such as degraded upper deck gel coat and some star crazing around her stanchions, but I think these can generally be expected for a vessel of her age.

If this Finnclipper is or was called Kollegat then I was the previous owner, What a cracking seaworthy boat it is. I bought it in the Netherlands near a place called Sneek and two of us sailed it back across the North Sea to Scarborough and then up to Firth of Forth and through the Forth/Clyde canal to Maryport. Lovely trip. Very quick and economical. One of the better boats Ive owned. !
