Broker's Comments

This Classic 1979 Kylix Mark.ll, wooden yacht, designed by Maurice Griffiths, has only had 4 owners from new. Her previous owner had her for 12 years and taken the family around the Solent and across the Channel on numerous occasions, as well as trips to the South West of England. The current owner had her for 18 months and needs to sell her due to a medical condition.

On boarding the vessel, I could quickly see the care and attention that has been lavished on her over the years. The saloon headroom is well over 6ft and is very 'light and airy'. The current owner is using her as a live aboard and he tends to spend every free moment on various little jobs towards his boat's great look.

This is one of the best looking wooden boats I've seen in a while. According to the owner there is not a single leak on the boat and after a closer inspection of the interior I can say I could't find anything a could pick on apart from bits of dust in the corners.

If there's anything this boat needs, it's a new owner with the same passion and love for this boat as her current one.
