Hi everyone! I decided to buy a boat about half year ago. I had lot’s of difficulties to find the right boat what is suit for me, find survey, insurance company etc. but i always got stuck in some points. I almost gived up, then i found a telephone number on Boatshed Brighton. When i called the number a really friendly guy answered my call! We have just bought a Hunter Landau and Tim from Boatshed provided us with first class service every step of the way. From making the initial offer, to advising us about having a survey, to arranging the lift with the marina and then finalising the purchase. Even after the sale Tim is on hand to ask advice and help with the transport arrangements for the boat. Tim is always professional and will to assist you, what ever the question. I can’t recommend the service provided by Tim Kingston too highly. Selling your boat can sometimes be a lengthy and frustrating affair. A few years ago Tim Kingston of Brighton Boat Shed assisted us with the sale of our Nicolson 48. We came back to him again recently to purchase our beautiful Westerly Seahawk 35 from. We took the difficult decision to sell our boat as we were able to get out on her as much as we would have liked. The next decision was do we try and sell her ourselves or use a broker? Fortunately for us we sought advice from our Yacht club who recommend Tim at Boatshed Brighton. They have worked together for several years and we are so glad we engaged Boatshed to market our boat. To do so ourselves would have been very time consuming - added to the fact we are relative novices to sailing and we doubt we’d have been able to sell her as quickly – if at all! We meet Tim whilst we anti-fouled her prior to offering her for sale. Tim gave us great confidence in his knowledge and ability to attract potential buyers and we were very excited when we viewed the video’s he had taken on board. It wasn’t long before we were seeing interest and then a viewing – again Tim arranged and conducted this for us, and an offer followed! He ensured all the relevant paperwork was in order and dealt with any enquiries from our buyers. All in all we can’t recommend Tim at Boatshed Brighton highly enough. Well done and thank you Tim.
